The 24th KIIC Sport Tournament: Strengthening Unity and Upholding Sportsmanship Among Tenants
Karawang, July 18, 2026 – Karawang International Industrial City (KIIC) has once again fostered the spirit of togetherness and sportsmanship by hosting the 24th KIIC Sport Tournament. This sporting event officially opened on Saturday, July 18, 2026, with 100 tenant companies participating this year
Embracing the spirit of togetherness, the KIIC Sport Tournament provides a space for tenant companies to strengthen bonds, build collaboration, and cultivate a positive and healthy workplace in the industrial area
The tournament opening was a vibrant event, officially inaugurated by the Director of KIIC, Mr. Shinichi Danno. In his opening remarks, he encouraged all participants to prioritize safety throughout the matches and to uphold the values of fair play by respecting both teammates and opponents.
“Let’s make this tournament an opportunity to refresh and enjoy, while simultaneously strengthening the bonds between us,” shared Mr. Shinichi Danno with the participants.
Following the ceremony, the festivities continued with the flag-off for the 5K and 10K Marathon and the official kick-off of the soccer match, marking the very first competitions of the 24th KIIC Sport Tournament
In this year’s edition, the KIIC Sport Tournament features 6 sporting categories: the 5K and 10K Marathon, soccer, men’s volleyball, women’s volleyball, badminton, and table tennis. All matches will take place every Saturday until October 3, 2026, in accordance with the schedule set by the committee
